The customer is a construction machinery manufacturer. During the vehicle-wide J1939 network integration and commissioning stage, the engineering team needed to collect CAN messages through a computer for debugging and testing.
The Vhandy USBCAN-II C+ dual-channel CAN interface was selected for this application. It supports CAN 2.0A/B, features built-in electrical isolation, and offers wide-temperature operation and vibration resistance. When used with GCANTools software, it supports DBC parsing as well as CAN message transmission and reception.

During prototype vehicle testing, engineers connected the device to the vehicle’s CAN bus to read messages from the engine, hydraulic controller, and instrument cluster. They monitored the baud rate, node response status, and CAN message information to assist with vehicle network debugging.

The device successfully performed CAN message acquisition and transmission, supporting engineers in completing the vehicle-wide network integration and commissioning process.
